Chef Alessio Scarola has gotten his passion for culinary arts from his Italian family. His grandmother was cooking at the local weddings every weekend and little Alessio was helping there and learned a lot from her. Through big family gatherings and stories, celebrations and recipes that had been passed from generation to generation, he explored the culture and culinary traditions of his motherland.

Right after graduation in 2010, he joined Four Seasons in Prague taking one of the greatest opportunities in his life and started his career in the Michelin starred restaurant. After a long journey in Prague and then in Florence, as of 2017, Alessio Scarola joined the team of Executive Chef Matteo Guida at Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg as Sous-Chef of Percorso restaurant. In 2019, after two successful years he was promoted to the position of the restaurant Chef.

Chef Alessio Scarola creates his own recipes of Italian cuisine based on traditions and authentic ingredients. With every dish represented in the menu, he sends the guest to a culinary journey through Italy offering the best from each region. “My family is my inspiration. I was raised in two culinary traditions: Northern and Southern. It made me become an open-minded Chef to represent Italian cuisine at its best”, - he says.
